On 14 March 2019, GT Future Forum 2019 was held in Singapore. The forum was held by Singapore’s GT Group, NASDAQ-listed company IDEANOMICS, China Merchants Energy Shipping (Singapore) Holdings Co. Ltd., Asia Pacific Commercial Bank, Singapore-listed company Nature’s Farm, Cambodia’s technology company BIQUAN Technologies Co. Ltd, and Thailand-listed insurance company Thai Setakij Insurance (TSI). These companies had jointly introduce a number of financial technology products into the market and had signed a strategic partnership agreement. DICA’s Consumer Finance Assurance was one of the product launch which had received great response and attention from the public.
At this forum, DICA Consumer Finance Assurance, jointly launched by GT Group and Thai listed insurance company Thai Setakij Insurance (TSI), has been introduced and released for the first time in the world. TSI Insurance Company is the first listed insurance company in Thailand. The organization was founded by the first prime minister of Thailand and has a background history of 78 years since. It mainly provides insurance services that covers property, automobile, marine and travel. It has 17 company branches across Thailand and its headquarters is located in Bangkok.
According to Dr. Paul Zhang, CEO of TSI Insurance, DICA’s Consumer Finance Assurance is based on the concept of “consumption is investment”, creating a new model of financial dividend protection and providing consumers with diversified high-return solutions. At present, Thailand’s 6,000-acre property project and Zhongfang Jiaojian Holding Pte Ltd’s ultra-large seascape resort community projects in Sabah and Langkawi, Malaysia, have adopted the DICA model to provide and facilitate real estate investment planning and value-added services to buyers.
As the gaming and entertainment evolves and grows into a lucrative industry, the industry players were looking forward to adopt DICA consumer financial assurance. According to BIQUAN Technologies Co. Ltd. from Cambodia, after the introduction of DICA into their gaming entertainment operation, it has experienced an increased in business growth. Therefore, they hope that by introducing DICA into the gaming industry, the insurance company will assure the regeneration of consumption from the game customers, and to assure the customers with a strong return. With DICA model, customers can expect more rewards when they consume more in the gaming entertainment industry. Hence, this will allowed the gaming and entertainment providers to increase their competitiveness within the industry to attract more customers to participate in gaming and entertainment.
