Lori Paul, Speaker, Life and Recovery Coach, was recently selected as Top Life and Recovery Coach of the Year for 2023 by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) for her outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment to the industry.

These special honorees are distinguished based on their professional accomplishments, academic achievements, leadership abilities, longevity in the field, other affiliations, and contributions to their communities. With more than two decades of experience in the industry, Lori has certainly proven herself as a seasoned and trusted expert in the field with deep understanding of Substance Use Disorder & Mental Health. She is a Certified Family Recovery Coach, Certified Event Interventionist and a Certified Life Coach.
Her impressive repertoire of prior roles includes a 14-year career at US Airways, where she was an International, Domestic & Inflight training instructor, Flight Attendant, EAP Peer Counselor, & part of the Emergency/Critical Incident Response Team. She started out as an expeditor for aircraft parts, then quickly rose to an international instructor for gate operations, and management programming. She then became a Flight Attendant and Inflight Instructor, which led her to becoming an EAP Peer Counselor for the Flight Attendants she flew with. She helped countless flight attendants struggling with substance use disorder and those that struggled with their mental health.
Before embarking on her career path, Lori attended the Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she now holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and a Master of Arts in Sociology. She has Certifications from the National Council For Behavioral Health in Youth & Adult Mental Health First Aid.
Throughout her illustrious career, Ms. Lori Paul has received many awards and accolades and has been recognized worldwide for her accomplishments. This year she will be considered for the Empowered Woman Award and to be featured in TIP (Top Industry Professionals) Magazine. She will be honored at IAOTP’s annual awards gala at the NYC Plaza Hotel this December for her selection as Top Life and Recovery Coach of the Year.

Lori’s drive and passion are helping others begin their own personal recovery journey and assisting the families in navigating their next steps. She also finds prevention to be paramount and has several platforms to disseminate that message. Her dream is to help end the stigma so people are not afraid to reach out for help.
